If your existing electric fence has lost tension, developed faults, or had brackets fail, we assess the full perimeter and repair or replace what is needed. Sometimes a full reinstall is the more cost-effective answer. We will tell you honestly which one applies.
Electric fencing and spikes can be installed onto existing vibracrete walls and brick boundary walls. We assess the wall condition as part of the quote, because mounting security onto a compromised wall does not make sense.

Yes. Electric fencing is commonly mounted onto vibracrete and brick boundary walls. Theo will assess the wall condition during the site visit. The wall needs to be in good structural shape for the mounting to be secure.
They serve different functions and are often used together. Electric fencing is an active deterrent: it delivers a shock on contact. Galvanised spikes are a passive anti-climb deterrent: they make scaling a wall significantly more difficult and painful. Many homeowners install both for layered perimeter security.
This depends on the energiser model and output. Sizing an energiser correctly to the perimeter length is one of the most important parts of an electric fence installation. Theo will specify the right unit for your property during the assessment.
Electric fencing should be checked periodically for vegetation contact, tension loss, and corrosion on fittings, particularly in the Cape salt air environment. If your fence is triggering frequently or showing reduced output, it is worth having it assessed.
